Hi, Mr. Gaiman (longtime fan here, became obsessed with Good Omens when I was 14, etc.), I was just wondering: were the instances of Crowley doing things such as ordering angel food cake, wearing white, and casually breathing life back into a dove intended as hints that he's not quite as evil as he should be?

With the greatest possible respect, the entire novel is about how Crowley is not anywhere nearly as evil as he could be.
