I picked up the FARGO tv series recently. I’m not even finished with the first season but I’m already in love. As far as I can tell, it’s a show about Tenacious Small Town Lady Cop tracking down Massive Murder Troll Billy Bob Thornton, who is also being tracked down by Hitman Boyfriends (because the best revenge for murder is more murder.)
Martin Freeman is also there, sometimes.

GATHERERS, another new one for SooJin Buzelli at PlanSponsor. This is for an article about how healthcare and retirement planning can work in unison.
I liked all my sketches for this, though, as usual, only one of them actually works for the prompt. It usually takes me a bit to really suss out the core of the article. There’s a balance that the working sketch strikes that none of the others do.
When these projects pop up, and I can more or less draw anything, as long as it relates back to the topic, I almost always try to exhaust whatever current topic my mind is focused on, before trying different subject matter. Last time it was knights, this time it was strange animals.
I usually get a lot of color advice from Kali, but she had a bigger hand in this one than usual. Pretty much steered the whole ship for a little while.

“I won’t ever draw any even slightly Jorian fanart” - yeah, right, sure. And then starandrea happened.
I’m dedicating quite a lot of stuff to lostinthebabylon, I know, but I assure you it’s only fair. She’s the one who has to listen to me whining about how much I dislike the amount of tongue Ealy puts in his kisses (no seriously, easy, tiger), or about how much I’d like fanfictions where Dorian happens to copy human’s behaviors so much he ends up sneezing. She is a saint.
Also, I’d happily draw EVERY WORD of starandrea’s fanfictions if I could, because they are marvellous. The fanfictions, I mean. But actually starandrea is even more awesome. All their (I don’t know which pronouns I should use, sorry) characters are so in-chara and perfect it makes me cry.
So hey, this is for both starandrea and lostinthebabylon. Many thanks to you both, bless your souls!
