WIP piece. Good painting practice, should be fun to work on.

Here we see the Greater Douchebag in one of their natural habitats. Like many poisonous animals, the bright colors are a warning to stay away.

This is the best “brb” sign I’ve ever encountered, courtesy of areyoutryingtodeduceme.
thanks for all the well wishes today everyone! I was just feeling a little anxious so I wanted to give myself some quiet time before I made myself sick D:
I love to see children who are so delicate and gentle with animals. It warms my heart amidst a sea of brats pulling cats’ tails and getting whacked.
Also JESUS THAT’S A SNUGGLY CHICKEN.
I love how she reaches up on her tippy toes to snuggle into his shoulder.
To be more exact, that’s a hen. Which is the female. This is likely not his first encounter with her. My grandpa had chickens and hens, and if you visit them frequently like this they develop affection to you. I would know, because I sat in the chicken coop alot. The hens get a small maternal kick, and come to cuddle you because she wants to keep you warm, like she would do with her chicks. This means the boy has spent alot of time with her, and that just makes it more heart warming.

Over the past 30 years, Parisian photographer Sébastien Lifshitz has been obsessed with vintage photographs, collecting anonymous albums from flea markets all around the world. It was during one of his searches that he happened upon a photo album belonging to a gay couple in the 1950s.
“It was quite unusual to have intimate photographs of gay people because most of the time they had to be very discreet,” he tells The Daily Beast. Decades ago, same-sex partnerships were much more taboo, so these gay couples risked a lot by developing their film.
These photos, however, show a different story. Each picture shows homosexuality without inhibitions, with gender norms being cut down, and a general freedom, where love and happiness are presented without fear.
Sébastien went on to produce a dignified documentary about homosexuality in France decades ago.
