Boom Box! Announces new series ‘Lumberjanes’

After the crazy first issue of Boom Box!’s first new series that was The Midas Flesh, they have just announced a all new second series called Lumberjanes.

This series, written by Noelle Stevenson and Grace Ellis with art by Brooke Allen, will focus on five girls attending a scout camp where there is some creepy stuff in the woods that they will probably have to fight.

The series is being billed as “Buffy the Vampire Slayer meets Gravity Falls,” and also promises that they at some point fight a yeti. If you are not on board yet, then I question your taste in awesomeness.

Lumberjanes is set to come out sometime this spring.

I’ve realized that you can’t really hack someone’s tumblr like you can on Facebook. On Facebook you can update a status to say, “I like dick in the eyeball,” and everyone would be freaked out. On tumblr, people would be like, “yeah man me too.” Then post a gif from supernatural.

This girl was crying and begging the policeman not to hit her or any of her friends. Then the policeman started crying as well and he said to her: “You just hold on girl.”

The photo comes from protests happening in Bulgaria right now. Students are protesting poverty and corruption in Bulgaria’s Socialist-backed government, chaining themselves to the doors of Sofia University and clashing with police outside of parliament.
