i think i just hit jackpot on the game “how fucking stupid can the people on this website get”
…people get bullied for heaps of reasons. I don’t really see what’s wrong with the sentence. I got bullied, my mates got bullied. It’s not an exclusive kind of experience for anyone.
I mean fuck I was bullied once because there was a broken pen on the floor of a locker bay that I decided to fix and my chief tormenter decided I had stolen that pen from her and unless I gave it back her and 5 of her friends where going to report me for stealing. Bullying comes in all forms and for all reasons you can think of ranging from the racist, sexist and homophobic to the inane and thoroughly pointless.Best of Mr Thomas William Hiddleston for 2013 according to you (aka “most popular gifsets of 2013”) and last one choosen by me.

WATSON & HOLMES—Re-envisioning Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes and Dr John Watson as African Americans living in New York City’s famous Harlem district. Watson, an Afghanistan war vet, works in an inner-city clinic; Holmes is a local P.I. who takes unusual cases. When one of them ends up in Watson’s emergency room, the unlikely duo strike up a partnership to find a missing girl. Watson & Holmes bump heads along the way as they enter a labyrinth of drugs, guns, gangs and a conspiracy that goes higher and deeper than they could have imagined….
I just got the first collected trade a couple of weeks ago ($12 on Amazon; $9 for the Kindle version), and it was good, although a bit of a prelude overall. I’m definitely interested in reading more.
I remember reading about this on Tumblr like a year or two ago when it was still in the works - gotta go get my hands on it!
“Hey man, take my picture!”
“I can’t do it. It’s too dark.”
“Yeah, we need some light. Let’s go over there.”
“Are you homeless?”
“Yes, I am.”
“How long have you been homeless?”
“15 years. I’ve been in Boston 8 months. Before that I was in Washington, Virginia, New York, Philadelphia, Louisiana, Florida…”
“Why didn’t you stay in Florida? It’s so much warmer.”
“I wanted to see my family. But they don’t want to see me. They don’t understand depression. They treat me like dirt. Homeless people treat me better than my family.”
“And what happened 15 years ago? How did you end up on the streets?”
“I tried to burn myself twice. I had 30 surgeries. I was dead two times, but God brought me back. I don’t know why.”
“And why did you do it?”
“I was depressed. Why you crying?”
“Because you are a beautiful person, and my family is really messed up, and I’ve been very depressed. I think I can understand you.”
“Yes, I am a good person. And when you take people’s pictures, don’t disrespect them.”
“No, man, I won’t. I like people. That’s why I take their pictures.”
“And when you make your portfolio, don’t denigrate people. Let the pictures speak for themselves.”
“I will. Are you safe on the streets?”
“Yes, I am…And now I have $8 to buy me some food.”
“That’s all I have. Next time I see you, I will give you more.”
“No, man. It ain’t all about money. Give me a hug. And next time you see me, give me a hug again. And thanks for taking my picture.”
