I don’t know that having an opinion on something demands that it ‘be the most important in the room’ and wanting to have your opinion heard means you need to 'get over yourself’. I agree that sometimes lack of personal knowledge on something means that it might not be as valuable or as important as someone else’s but I don’t think that gives anyone the right to call it invalid.

I don’t reblog much on here, but this is genuinely brilliant. I hate to be one of these people who say ‘music saved/changed my life” but this music inspired me enough to make my own music and I wouldn’t be the person I am today without it. The latest album especially taught me that even if no one cares, if no one listens, if no one even likes what you’re doing just do it for yourself. Write what you love. Write what you want and be proud of it. Maybe one day I’ll make it as a producer or in a band one day but as long as I’m alive I will create music and help others to create their music. Being a part of the process in any way is an honour.
