I don’t know what to do. This is terrifying. I live in Códroba Argentina and the city is literally besieged by delincuents. The police went on strike and vandalism does not cut what’s going on right now. Everybody is going crazy, there are gunshots, Is 2 AM here and no one is sleeping. They have robbed most stores in the city, the big and the little ones, thats a military outpost near my house that got burned. I almost never write anything on tumblr but the gunshots, the helicopters, the stress and the impotence are driving me insane and I just have no idea what to do. I’m afraid they’re gonna break into my house, the mortorcycles keep going around and I know they’re robbing. They ransacked the Walmart, and the Carrefour, and little stores in the center of the city. Everything is just going to hell.

I love my country, I love living in my country, I love my people. I hate it when argentine people say that there’s nothing worst than this country (and they do that a lot) because we have a lot of wonderful things. People don’t tolerate injustice (and we have a lot of that, so this country is one protest after another), our legislation about workers rights is quite good. The best colleges in here are public and free.  It’s a tolerant country, there is little conflict about race, and religion and sexuality (well, you know, not everyone is that tolerant, but we do have marriage equality there are virtually no hate crimes and the level of acceptance is high whatsoever). Really, this country is welcoming and I love it even when is chaos.

But this society has no course. It is helpless, orphan, we live under chaos.  At least the neighbors help each other out, because if it’s up to the authorities, they just don’t exist. No one respects them because they have been stabbing us in the back during our whole history, and since no one respects them, this is chaos, and everything good in this country goes dimmised.

It’s scary. But it’s also terribly sad.

The Most Intense Color of Any Living Thing on Earth

Also known as the marble berry, Pollia condensata is a wild plant that grows in the forests of several African countries. The berries are not edible, but they have an extremely rare property. They produce the most intense color of any living thing on Earth. Even after the berries have been picked from the plant, they stay the same shiny, vibrant, metallic blue color for many decades.

The vast majority of colors in the biological world are produced by pigments—compounds produced by a living organism that selectively absorb certain wavelengths of light, so that they appear to be the color of whichever wavelengths they reflect.

However, the marble berry’s skin has no pigment. The berries produce their vibrant blue color through nanoscale-sized cellulose strands that scatter light as they interact with one another. Thus the fruit’s color is even visible at the cellular level as pictured above.

I recently discussed this at length with a good friend of mine and we collectively feel that anything with a basis in actual human development would be good. The first two seasons where good because they involved relatable human backbones for the supernatural story to rest upon which made them strong and enjoyable (i.e. bullying, not being cool, worrying about tests, having a crush on someone, wanting to play on a team, having issues with relating to parents). But then as the seasons went on that kind of fell by the wayside (I’ve honestly got to say I can’t look back at my teens and go ‘bloody hell evil druids where a pain around exam time weren’t they?’).

Maybe they could go on a school camp and actually have something interesting happen to them. Find cave paintings that are imbued with a special kind of wolfsbane that makes the werewolves act weirdly and alison and lydia have to keep the werewolves away from the teachers because this behaviour makes them careless/ drunklike/ sick/ change unexpectedly.

I feel thats another thing thats kind of been toned down now that the parents know about the werewolf thing. It’s like once the parent’s found out the rest of the world didn’t matter. Season 1 and 2 that was a major concern and i’m not saying it has to be as big of a concern but come on. If a teacher figures it out or a passerby or whatever theres still gonna be hell to pay.

A jogger sees Scott being werewolfy/ records Scott being a werewolf on his/her mobile in the woods one night for whatever reason and tells the local press. Tensions mount as more and more attention is placed on the town and Scott and Stiles have to find a way to discredit the jogger’s story without implicating themselves. In the end they pretend they are filming a movie for a media project (and just for kicks stiles gets offered a job to be a director on a new small budget movie but he turns it down cause beacon hills is way more interesting then that bizo). Something like that.
