A lot of my sketching lately has been of Newt in various states of kaiju-fication. One, I really liked District 9. Two, body horror is kind of fun. Three, uh, it’s just fun to mess around with a monster design, especially with a character I like.

All of these SFW sketches were first posted on my NSFW blog (in larger sizes, these are all cropped and sized down). There’s quite a bit more, but they’re on my other blog for a reason. SFW stuff though, well, I feel a tad bit embarrassed with the kaiju!Newt things, so I just have kept ALL of it over at the other blog. BUT, I really like all of these sketches (well, the photocopier one was just funny), so I wanted to post them here because me liking them is overriding me being embarrassed by them.

Go ahead and add kaiju!Newt to my list of AUs I’ve got going. Pacific Rim is just delightful to muck about in and mess around with.
