"I read all the time that I’m gay or engaged," says Fall Out Boy bassist and recent tabloid attraction Pete Wentz. "A lot of people say that I’m gay. In general, I’m an above-the-waist gay kind of guy." … In the studio, Fall Out Boy recorded the highly anticipated follow-up to 2005’s From Under the Cork Tree. Song titles are subject to change, so don’t go amending your AIM screen names just yet. … “I’m at the point where I just wanna dissect [the new album],” admits Wentz, during his last week in the recording studio. “I just wanna make everything perfect, but [frontman] Patrick [Stump] says that perfect is the enemy of good. When you try too hard to make something perfect, you just end up disassembling it. It’s like Appetite for Destruction versus Chinese Democracy." Let’s just hope Stump says away from the corn rows.
