That’s not macklemore’s fault that’s the industry and music critics fault. He’s worked friggin hard to get where he got, he speaks his mind and his heart and just because he’s viewed a certain way by the public because of his race it shouldn’t mean your problem should be with him. I agree with what you’ve said about how unfairly weighted his praise is when compared to other rappers but that doesn’t mean he hasn’t done anything to deserve it and that doesn’t mean he’s not a voice for a lot of the things we believe in.

I’ve been planning to make a fan video with this song for about almost 2 weeks now, and I decided for the fun of it to take on the idea today— but I’ve been literally sitting on my ass for 6 hours straight and it’s seriously just not fun anymore.
