just read price of the phoenix because of you and oh my god. think i wouldve lost my mind if i had seen that play out on tv. please tell me what other books i can read i am going through a spirk renaissance.

Well get ready friend because Price of the Phoenix has a sequel!!!! It’s called Fate of the Phoenix and it is also SUPER GOOD!! I also highly recommend Killing Time by Della Van Hise. If/when you’re done with those I’ll rec you some of the short stories from Star Trek: The New Voyages series too. A loooooot of Spirk goodness still to be had in these delicious old pulp novels.

Leonel, Marco... I told you not to interfere...

The art was inspired by my recent sketch:

I thought about the headcanon that not only Hector was engaged in the education of Leonel and Marco as assassins - Lalo also helped him at times.

And the twins probably loved their older cousin more in this regard.

Because Lalo was clearly funnier and kinder to his little relatives.

breaking bad better call saul lalo salamanca eduardo salamanca salamanca cousins salamanca twins marco salamanca leonel salamanca salamancas brilliant brilliant brilliant i adore this head canon

I followed your account for the A+ OFMD content but now through pure exposure you have made me deeply invested in Better Call Saul -- a show I have never seen but now feel I know intimately purely via Tumblr tags, gifs, and fanart.
I want to watch this show, but six seasons is a lot. Can you recommend a good starting place for maximum Nacho/Lalo vibes? Or should I just suck it up and watch the whole thing?
P.S. I am passingly familiar with Breaking Bad, if that helps.

Aw wow, thank you so much for following me for the OFMD art that’s so lovely and thanks for asking my advice!

Better Call Saul is definitely a show that steadily gets better and better with every episode but is a little slow to start. It is only 10 episodes a season except for the last which is 13 eps so though there are 6 seasons it does go by pretty quick.

Nacho is in the show from ep 2 and his character evolves a lot through the course of the show. He’s pretty important in the grand scheme of things. Lalo doesn’t come in till season 4. If you started at season 4 I am not 100% sure if you would grasp the stakes of the show/fully grasp the story so my rec would probably be to start from the start. Even if at the start you kind of just have it on in the background and absorb it that way.

I hope you enjoy it and even if you don’t end up getting through the fanart will always be here for you ✨
