The thing that I love about Kirk and Spock’s relationship (whether romantic or otherwise) is the irrefutable amount of chemistry between them. There is this unspoken bond that I noticed literally from the first episode of interaction. They are fluid with one another. They know when the other needs to talk and when need be, they are willing to push to find out what needs to be discussed. They trust each other implicitly and, take away the duty and command, they would still die for each other. They’ve proven that time and time again. They compete with each other and they complete each other.
