I’m at somewhat of a moral crossroads with Hannibal (much like I was with dexter) I just don’t know if I should be watching a TV show where it is common practice for lector to feed people to house guests without telling them. That’s just really impressively far from ok. You can’t even see ok for where you’re standing after that I mean I know that’s the point - that he is that incredibly off the reservation of morality but I guess in the movie because you never saw him kill/eat a person and he was for the most part unable to do bad things he could be quite charming. I suppose I feel like in the movie eating and killing people was horrific but to go ahead and feed those people to other unsuspecting humans is like a whole new level of rank horror. Maybe ill just have to be in a super solid headspace when I watch it.
