I don’t understand how that is bad parenting.
this is OPPRESSIVE, asshole. It’s bad parenting because it’s disregarding your childs sexuality and feelings, telling them to get rid of the girl they’re with just because YOU want him to be with someone. Believe it or not, if you have kids their sexuality isn’t really any of your fucking business, and you should let them date or marry whoever the fuck THEY want not who YOU think they should be with, and you certainly shouldn’t try to make your son gay or whatever the hell is going on in this god damn post„,

This is one of the many problems with the Internet. Firstly this post obviously wasn’t meant as a honest to god parenting discussion. Secondly itsleviosar might have been asking a legitimate question. Having a lack of knowledge about an aspect of life does not make someone an idiot it just means perhaps they hadn’t thought too much about it before/ simply did not make the leap to this conclusion yet. Lastly open minded playfulness is not a negative thing. It becomes negative when it becomes real and my friends tumblr posts of this kind rarely hold their basis in reality.
