Waiter Dorian WIP for jjjat3am. I’ve been at it 2 hours now and it’s dragged me in this one. I was like YOU WILL NOT DEFEAT ME YOU BASTARD. Anyway I’m not done with it by a long shot and will hopefully get it done by tomorrow and then it’ll be on to the next one! You guys are giving me such great prompts!

As some of you may know I have been offering Almost Human drawings to those who write to Fox and tell them why Almost Human should have a second season. Setphaserstofuckme asked for Dorian giving John a little golden retriever puppy and John trying not to smile (but failing miserably).
Almost Human is not in as much danger as I had been lead to believe. Which is awesome. Right now it could go either way but is slightly on the positive side of things. If you feel like sending a letter that’s awesome ( askfox@fox.com ) and you can still send me a screen cap for a drawing request but I’ve got a quite a few backed up at this stage so it might be a while.

EDIT: As far as I can tell Almost Human is in danger of being cancelled. Anyone who writes an email to askfox@fox.com, minimum 1 paragraph, about why AH is awesome/deserves a second season, screen caps it and send the screen cap to me - I will draw a jorian/ almost human sketch for you.

I’ve sent them a FB message and emailed them because seriously this show is to awesome not to get a second season.
It’s looking like it’s going to be cancelled! If it get cancelled I’m going to bloody well put a 2 year cap on any TV show I watch from here on out that I won’t watch it until it’s 2 or three seasons in. I’m tired of getting my heart broken over brilliant tv shows that producers/creators/executives just swan past. ESPECIALLY IF THEY HAVE A GOOD VIEWER SHIP OF A FEW MILLION PEOPLE FOR EVERY EPISODE AND THAT FIGHT TOOTH AND NAIL FOR THEM.
Remember when we came second after Hannibal for Best New Drama on Tv.com! Hannibal. COME ON. HANNIBAL HAD A WHOLE SEASON WE HAD A FEW EPISODES AND WE STILL TIED FOR NO. 1 FOR AGES! This happened with Awake and I mean then I could vaguely understand it because it was highbrow and you had to pay attention BUT THIS IS BLADE RUNNER CROSSED WITH GHOST IN THE SHELL TOLD FROM THE DOWN TO EARTH PERSPECTIVE OF JJ ABRAMS WITH MURDER MYSTERIES, SCI-FI GENIUS AND QUITE FRANKLY A TOTALLY BRILLIANT SHIP OF ALMOST HUSBANDS.
EDIT: Hey i’ve been informed by some rather friendly and delightful fans that the situation might not have been as bad as I have been led to believe. It’s still up in the air as to weather the show will be renewed by it’s a little less doom and gloom then I thought.

UPDATE: ALMOST HUMAN IS LOOKING MORE AND MORE LIKE IT’S GOING TO BE CANCELLED. Email fox at askfox@fox.com and tell them why almost human must get a season 2! If we don’t we may loose this ship forever!Seriously good ep today. I like the story progression I LOVE that they are following up with things they showed only glimpses of before and I’m dying to know what’s behind ‘The Wall’. I can only assume that it’s something horrible like the well off are completely separated from the extremely poor. I mean it had occurred to me that it didn’t look like there where a lot of poor people around but i just thought that was because there was a utopian style thing going on not a segregation. I’m totally fascinated.

Static. 4 hours? First try at stippling (some lines where a bit obvious for my liking). Train sketch. Drew it about a month ago? But then christmas was all like WHUT? you want to make art. lol no jks
There was a crackling surge that Dorian registered as pain. He reached a hand down to the unconscious man beneath him and brushed rubble from his face. His hand trembled and groaned from the damage the car had done. His vitals scanner was blank.
“John” he said his stressed vocal system warping his voice.
The debris from the concrete wall had left cuts and marks across Johns face and arms. His shirt was torn below the collar bone. Dorian reached up and touched a wound bringing his finger up to inspect the blot of blood. John flinched at the touch. Dorian smiled and spoke but no sound came out. He turned his upper body to eye the wrecked chassis split in two against his back.The guts of the engine sunk deep into his own and his visual systems began to fail, blacking out sporadically.
‘Dorian?’ A groggy farmillar voice spoke. Dorian turned back. John was gazing up at him through bleary eyes
“…trrterrorists…b-b-black out bomb-rrrrammed uszz….attttemped vehicular mansl-slaughter…” Dorian tried to explain only the occasional word making it through. He registered Johns face folding with growing concern.
“Hey what’s going on with you?” He asked pushing himself up onto his elbows trying to see around Dorian. Dorian felt pressure in his abdomen as John leaned into a pipe that was protruding from his chest.
“Oh my god” John mumbled grabbing one of Dorians shoulders.
“You…already loszzt one l-l-legg….couldn’t loszze…” Dorian said before his visuals cut out completely.
“Dorian! Dorian!” He could hear John shouting. Dorian knew he had less then a few moments before he lost all functionality and decided he would change his attempt at a joke.
“…you..” The word fell from his mouth with a mechanical hiss and then there was nothing.
Dorian had not had to wonder this time if someone would be there on the other side to wake him up again. He knew John Kennex would.
Dorian In The Dark. This took me around 15 hours. I don’t normally work without lines. This is one of the extreme few i’ve attempted without lines. So sorry if it’s a bit less then awesome.
