Nandor gives Guillermo an outfit to celebrate his Accession Day in.
ID: there is one image of Guillermo and Nandor standing side by side. Guillermo is wearing ornate Ottoman Empire style garb. A sash is tied around his waist securing a sword to his hip. He is looking up at Nandor a little stunned as Nandor says “you know, you look quite handsome in this outfit”. Guillermo replies with “thank you, master” as he admires Nandor’s beautiful visage. He is dressed in a regal formal outfit with a long over the shoulder robe that has beads and tassels hanging from it.

Well. Look. It was good of them to be up front about it. Now no-one can say they are stringing us along or that there’s nothing there. There’s something there but not in S4. Maybe eventually tho. The ‘soon’ carries a lot of weight.
(also just saying sounds a heck of a lot like what I predicted maybe minus the love confession. Now I’m like do one of the other vampires realise it and cock block the wedding without saying why??????? SO EXCITING TO DO PREDICTIONS)
Holy shit. I just realized something. Vampires have heightened senses, right. So of course it’s only natural to assume that Nandor can hear Guillermo’s heartbeat all the time, right.
So. I was thinking.
When Nandor the Relentless admits to not be as fearless as he usually is in The Curse, and asks Guillermo to stay with him until he falls asleep, he obviously can’t expect Guillermo to protect him from any vampire killers. He’s his fragile familiar after all, he is weak, he wouldn’t stand a chance in a fight. Allegedly. So, why did he ask Guillermo to stay with him?
Hear me out. Nandor wanted to listen to Guillermo’s heartbeat. For comfort. Because Guillermo has been in his life for over a decade now, he’s used to having that heartbeat around. He likes to have it around. It’s right there from the second he wakes up until the second Nandor’s coffin closes by sunrise.
Basically, Guillermo’s heartbeat is Nandor’s new normal, and it probably serves as a reassurement that everything is fine. So that’s why he asks Guillermo to stay when he feels uneasy, thanks for coming to my ted talk

On your Nandermo post: the cameo thing doesn’t bother me much actually. If it was posted a year ago that means it’s pre-S4 script, for one (I also just don’t put much stock in cameos — they’re a way for actors to make a buck, they’re not additional show content). But here’s what I think; up to the end of S3, we don’t really have confirmation of Nandor’s feelings the way we do Guillermo’s, so imo Kayvan couldn’t make a statement suddenly revealing that key development in silly cameo video. So the reverse of what you pointed out: yes, they would need to get approval to post certain things, meaning I can 99% guarantee they wouldn’t let Kayvan make requited Nandermo canon in a cameo vid lol. My prediction is that S4 is going to be further exploration of Nandor’s feelings towards Guillermo (in general, including platonic), and that if we get romantic feelings confirmation it won’t be until the end of the season. And they definitely won’t be together by the end of S4. Next season however… 👀
Love it, love where your heads at, appreciate your thoughts and assessment. You’re right about the likely hood of cameo being a throwaway thing and not a real sort of hint. It was also off the cuff/riffing so he might have not super thought it through. Good prediction given that up until now there’s been a lot more of Guillermo’s on-screen turmoil about Nandor than the other way around so they’d have more material to work with from Nandor’s perspective. I agree that they wouldn’t be together by end of s4 though a confession feels like it could happen as the cliffhanger…
Everything below this is mostly the wild rantings of a woman waiting for a tv show. There might be a leaked spoiler or two but mostly refers to stuff Harvey and Kayvan have said/speculation.
I think I’m going to have to write a case for and against the likelihood of Nandermo now. I’m like….did going straight from ofmd to wwdits give me unrealistic shipspectations? Did my brain go of course the people who clearly love each other but won’t admit it are romantically in love. Today alone I’ve seen a video of Kayvan doing Nandor on cameo being like ‘I love Guillermo but not in that way’ in a non-joking way and Harvey posting on Twitter that 'save your tears’ and 'both sides now’ are theme songs for Guillermo in s4. Now there’s a lot of interpretations of those songs but for me, they hit a super 'we are no longer together’ 'sliding doors’ vibe :/ Which I’m like well. Maybe this is actually a one-sided romantic pining situation.
Yes, way back in the past Kayvan said Guillermo is the best thing that’s happened to Nandor, Guillermo has everything he’s looking for in his romantic partners but can’t find and Nandor does risk his life for Guillermo (a ridiculous unheard of act for a vampire to do for their familiar) but the cameo video was posted only a year ago whereas those other statements were from a few years ago. I know that a lot of these are from Kayvan and Harvey and not like the writers/creators but they wouldn’t be allowed to post certain stuff without the go-ahead. They could both be just fucking about too Harvey does seem to very much lean on both sides in interviews of maybe Guillermo loves him but mayyyybe he doesn’t maaaybe their relationship isn’t like that whoooo knows. And I’m like. Harvey. I beg.
Kayvan’s just like let me tell you every way you could see Nandor through every prism, every possibility laid out before you BUT Kayvan has also said stuff about Nandor in the past that’s been shown to not line up with Nandor in the show. Though seemingly not cause he was trying to mislead just because that’s not how the writers wrote it.
