Ok so *puts hands together* I gotta get this off my chest so I can do any work today. I am disappointed that Nandor and Guillermo are non-sexual soulmates according to an interview with the creators (link below). The vampires are very sexual and Guillermo is a snack and Nandor is literally friends with bennies with Laszlo so…like I know I get it, some people were pulling for an ace-y/the rare deep meaningful non-sexual friendship for them but.

The breathless desperate desire Guillermo has to please and protect and be close to Nandor feels very much like romantic pining and the many times Nandor has shown an absolutely reckless capacity to throw his life away for Guillermo and be possessive of him and care about him in a way he doesn’t care about anyone else feels romantic.

It feels romantic to me in a way that could comfortably also include a sexual component. Naturally it would give the game away to say they are falling in love and I don’t need the creators to tell me that they are. But I don’t want them to tell me they aren’t and this feels very much like that is the conceit here.

Been reading some very good fics lately that look at the more literal interpretation of Nandor as vampire so I thought I would draw that.

Camera cuts to Nandor attempting to make Guillermo a tea. It’s going poorly.

Guillermo: I mean I know he has had like 64 spouses or whatever but when they called him relentless they were not kidding-

Nandor sticks his head in through the door: Guillermo! Are you telling them about our sex life?! Little rascal!

Guillermo *sweetly and teasingly*: sorry master

*Nandor shuffles out of the room, placated. Guillermo’s eyes flick back to the camera*

Guillermo: I’m the master now.

The lace has a repeating flower pattern that sits over the top of his clothing creating a translucent effect through which you can see the clothes underneath. Around his neck he is wearing necklaces with rubies, emeralds and pearls. He also has a gold chains around his biceps with a large ruby at the centre and pearls on either side. On his wrist he is wearing pearls and on his hand his largest ring. He has a decorative sword at his hip with a red and gold sheath. He is wearing mustard yellow sandals.

Man I’ve watched Kayvan saying Nandor might be falling for Guillermo so many times it’s crazy. I’m like so a part of him knows how special and important and real and great his love for Guillermo could be so he’s just running full tilt in the other direction looking for someone safe to stand in as that person for him because he can’t risk the pain loosing Guillermo would cause??????????????? And Guillermo is out here assuming Nandor would never love him like that even though he absolutely loves Nandor. Like it’s Austenian. Shakespearean. I know I’m insane but like????? You know????
