I couldn’t help but think of the look on Stede’s face as he leaves shore. The peace of properly closing the last chapter of his old life and how like excited he is to start the next one with the man he loves. And being like oh boy you have nooooooooo idea what you’re sailing back to.

Ok so I’ve been doing 4 things since thurs. Watching the kiss repeatedly, reading every ‘and it all worked out fine’/off screen cute moments of romance on ao3, watching the eps with them and *checks notes* trying make fanart of them so yeah still fully insane with love about Our Flag Means Death.
