EDIT: Oh my god Aztecgoldsax I am so sorry for the wait on this one. I have been angsting/being sick/ doing design work which has taken up my easily distracted attention.

A literal million years ago I was doing a ‘Draw jorian to save Almost human’ thing before I was paralysed with angst over it not having been renewed yet. I am back to working on the commissions now and will continue to get these badboys done. This is for Aztecgoldsax who asked for “Dorian reassuring John his synthetic leg isn’t weak or bad, that it’s ok to be proud of his leg and his injury”. It’s also for the-new-superwhomerlock who asked for something Jorian/ a nice hug between the two of them.

I wanted to set the scene after the fight with the XRN and basically had Dorian kind of going 'we wouldn’t be here without this leg’ and John just smiling in acknowledgement (also they are on his bed. Just…you know fyi).

My offer to draw jorian for free is on hold until I finish the commissions I already have backed up. Thanks!

Almost Human Survey

I’m depressed cause I’m drawing Jorian and I love it cause Jorian is beautiful and awesome but I hate it cause I’m pretty sure Almost Human’s not gonna make it to the second season because of stupid bad ratings and stupid bad fox not renewing an awesome show like they should cause it’s totally badass.

Forgot to draw in the oil (I’m so forgetful) and had him comparing his non-synthetic leg to his synthetic one, as I loved how they suggested he has no feeling in it in the show. While terrifying kids…

Almost Human

Sorry about my procrastination on the Jorian drawings. I’ve been avoiding Almost Human style stuff cause i’m trying to emotionally detach from Almost Human in case it’s not cleared for a second season. I will have a whack at doing one of the requests tomorrow though.

For anyone who is still interested in supporting Almost Human: Anyone who writes an email about why Almost Human should get a second season and emails it to fox network at askfox@fox.com screen caps it and sends that screencap to me with a drawing request will get a Jorian picture from me.

*loud whisper* it’s not the apron that he’s staring at *ahem!* I drew this for jjjat3am who is currently working on this Diner in the middle of nowhere AU in which John is a trucker and Dorian works at the diner he frequents and wears a garish pink ruffled apron! Which as an idea I kind of loved especially if Dorian was SUPER unselfconscious about it. Like it almost didn’t even factor into the interactions. like that was just him and maybe that was what thier first convo was about but from that point on it’s not even mentioned. Until someones an asshole about it and john starts to defend dorian and then dorians really calmly like ‘stand back john i can handle this’ and then turns around and decks the guy. But you know it’s not like i’ve thought about this a lot/ am waiting for the story with great anticipation.

I drew this as part of my - if you send an email to askfox@fox.com (at least a paragraph) saying why the Almost Human should have a second season, screen cap it and submit it to me with a drawing request I will draw you a picture!

It may take me a little while to get to you but I am gradually working through them.

As some of you may know I have been offering Almost Human drawings to those who write to Fox and tell them why Almost Human should have a second season. Setphaserstofuckme asked for Dorian giving John a little golden retriever puppy and John trying not to smile (but failing miserably).

Almost Human is not in as much danger as I had been lead to believe. Which is awesome. Right now it could go either way but is slightly on the positive side of things. If you feel like sending a letter that’s awesome ( askfox@fox.com ) and you can still send me a screen cap for a drawing request but I’ve got a quite a few backed up at this stage so it might be a while.
