Hannibal Season Finale spoilers

So just saw the finale and I’m sorry Hannibal loved Will (in the only capacity he has).

“Will I was keeping a surprise for you. It’s that you, me and Abigail can run away together and be a family. Two dads and our lil girl abigail cause I honestly wouldn’t want to continue on from this point without you by my side. It’s a pity you broke my heart into a million pieces and now I have to kill literally everyone. I gave you something I have given to no-one else - to know me for who I really am”

I was expecting him to kiss him. Like he leaned in for it and everything (granted as he was gutting him) but i’m saying writers and what not are saying Hannibal doesn’t have romantic love for Will. I disagree. I also think in spite of everything in the end Will even had a kind of love for Hannibal too. A sick kind of perception that was born out of his efforts to get close to Hannibal but the fact that he’s had chances to kill Hannibal and hasn’t, the fact that he said he didn’t want Hannibal to die speaks DEPTHS to me cause when he got out of hospital he wanted to kill Hannibal straight up and wasn’t shy talking about it.

I’d like to add here that I don’t find the idea of their throughly twisted, disturbing relationship particularly romantic. I find it beautiful in a gothic tragic deadly fascinating way but I still kind of don’t get the idea of people romanticising it. The only way I could ever ‘ship’ it would be in the way the show puts it across: some heinously fucked up murderous homoerotic subtext.

I drew for about 9 hours with a 2B pencil and i did not edit it on photoshop. I don’t think i have ever not edited my drawings in some capacity before posting them so this is a big deal for me.

So I purchased Hannibal in the usa itunes store. I have now officially placed my digital vote to keep this show alive. If you’ve got the money/time/inclination please do so as well. The greater percentage of purchases they get the more they will want to keep it. As far as i can tell it seems like it could go either way at this stage.
